4Healingsm has
only one goal: Successful outcomes for its members.
4Healingsm is not affiliated
with any physician or practitioner group, association, or other special
interest.
We are dedicated to helping
our members access treatments, therapies, practitioners, and information that have
demonstrated success. We go beyond credentialing, including multiple
modalities in our practitioner network. Each participating practitioner must agree to subject
his or her practice to the rigorous scrutiny of evidence-based / outcomes-based
reporting. In addition to providing the most relevant information on
practitioners, we are contributing to the science by collecting outcomes
feedback from each of our practitioners and members and continuously updating
our database.
Dr. Robert Anderson, the preeminent holistic
physician, has dedicated himself to compiling and reporting scientific studies
of effective treatments and therapies in multiple modalities, that many
physicians and consumers are completely unfamiliar with (scroll down to see more
about Dr. Anderson).
Dr. Anderson’s book, The
Scientific Basis for Holistic Medicine (now in its sixth edition) includes over 4,300
annotated abstracts of scientific studies in its 653 pages. The book is the
officially recognized database of the American Board of Holistic Medicine,
one of the newest specialties in mainstream medicine.
Dr. Anderson has graciously
allowed us to make available a searchable, read-only version of this work so
that practitioners and patients can look at the science themselves.
